Nana Pudd'n Designs was inspired by my five beautiful grandchildren. What fun it is to design fun and whimsical one of a kind things for them and for others to enjoy.
While I still work full time for a specialty childrens boutique, on occasion I will meet moms and grandmothers who are searching for that special dress or gown for a Christening, a Baby Dedication or Baptismal.
When "the perfect one" just can't be found, I will offer my services of Wedding Gown to Christening Gown Conversion. In this process, I will take mom's wedding gown, or have even used the grandmother's or great-grandmothers vintage gowns, and I will create a family heirloom for them that will be past down for many more generations to come.
Mothers can choose how many pieces they want included in a collection, from the dress to the slip, or a bonnet, a bib, booties, diaper covers, bloomers blankets or even embellished socks!
When I have completed the collection and mom and baby comes for the fitting, I am always sure to have a box of tissue on hand. Tears of joy and thankful hugs are always the response.
Photos of the special day are always mailed to me and placed in my photo album. I also have photos I have saved that I would like to share with you here.
